The pet food ingredients used in Karma are of the highest quality ever used before in a food for dogs. They are meticulously selected and balanced to interact in such a way to promote optimal health and well-being.

Because of the goodness associated with this product, and the care with which it was made, we firmly believe Karma will not only satisfy your dog’s taste and nutritional requirements, but will also satisfy the holistic need to be protective of our environment.

Karma features eco-friendly bags which, with the exception of the seal used to secure the sacks, are repulpable, biodegradable, and made using compostable and biodegradable technology. Just cut off the top seal of the Karma bag and you can recycle it with your regular paper goods

Karma all-natural dry dog food formula is based on ground organic chicken and organic grains. It includes whole, raw fruits and vegetables which contain health-promoting nutrients, antioxidants and phytochemicals.

Karma also includes yeast extract which is a naturally rich source of protein and essential B-vitamins. In addition to these wholesome nutritional qualities, yeast extract has an attractive flavor to both humans and dogs. Since yeast extract is rich in protein, it is abundant in many amino acids, the building blocks of protein. The natural yeast extract used in Karma does not contain any monosodium glutamate (MSG) as it is sometimes suggested (on the internet) yeast extract does. In fact, yeast extract is one of the select natural ingredients that can be used in organic human foods or pet foods, like Natura’s 95% organic Karma dog food, per the stringent rules of the USDA’s National Organic Program.

All products labeled organic must contain 95% or more certified organic ingredients. Some essential vitamins and minerals may not be available in organic form which prevents the 100% Organic label.

Karma is formulated to meet the nutritional levels established by the AAFCO (Association of American Feed Control Officials) Dog Food Nutrient Profile for maintenance.

Nutrient Analysis

Commonly referred to as Typical Nutrient Analysis (NA), this describes the nutrient content that a specific pet food formula is expected to achieve based on data from the formula database, or in some cases, from an actual laboratory assay. The goal in posting the Typical NA is to provide nutritionists and veterinarians with information that can aid in the treatment of clinical problems such as a cat with struvite or in working with overly obese dogs to prescribe feeding amounts and diet choice for the animal's success.
